(PR) OWC Announces Mercury Extreme Pro 480 GB SandForce-Driven SSD

Other World Computing (OWC), a leading zero emissions Mac and PC technology company, announced today its award-winning OWC Mercury Extreme Pro SSD line has begun shipping in the largest capacity model available of any SandForce-based processor SSD on the market – up to 480GB – by being the first SSD on the market to use the new SandForce SF 1232 processor which is optimized for the higher flash density required by these capacity leading drives.
